Intel Drops Pentium

Oddly enough, Intel is dropping its widely-recognized "Pentium" name from its processors. This follows the quirky slogan adjustment from "Intel Inside" to "Leap Ahead" a while back. Makes me want to adjust for Daylight Savings Time.

So, instead of a Pentium 4 Dual Core, you'll be able to buy a PC with something called a D 880 running it.

Did they learn nothing from the K-Car?
