Day
Seven - Weather, Scenery, and some Sports Action
The breakfast area is set right into the rain forest, so you can
see a lot of activity while you eat. During my typical rice and beans,
eggs, and fruit meal, I had a couple visitors. Some white-faced monkeys
got a little curious and climbed down from the trees and started playing
around overhead. They flipped around on the various beams and poles
and seemed to be having a good time. As others noticed and gathered,
they got a little nervous and started to edge back into the jungle.

I went for an early walk out to the beach and discovered that I was
alone out there. I took advantage and walked all along the coast for
about two hours, getting rather burned in the process.

After lunch, I ran into some rather loud and colorful McCaws flying
overhead. They were moving rather quickly, so I couldn't get a good
shot. I managed a somewhat blurry capture (below). I went and played volleyball for a couple hours and then
went for dinner. I finished the night drinking Corona on the beach,
watching the sun go down.
